Critical data was allegedly leaked into darkweb, a private internet network where users’ location information cannot be tracked and is not indexed in the World Wide Web

In an official statement, the bank clarified that the breach involved a single employee's email account rather than its main banking infrastructure.

The matter was identified promptly, and containment measures were implemented, it said, without giving any further details of the incident, such as when the compromise happened or the position of the employee in the hierarchy.
