CVE Alert: CVE-2026-110245 – IBM

Redpacketsecurity •admin • October 30, 2026

IBM Langflow OSS 1.0.0 through 1.12.4 could allow a remote attacker to obtain sensitive information due to improper authentication.

**Risk verdict:** Treat internet-reachable deployments as high-priority exposure and patch promptly; exploitation status cannot be confirmed because KEV, SSVC, PoC and EPSS data are absent.

**Why this matters:** An unauthenticated remote party may be able to access sensitive information without first compromising an account. Exposed workflow data or secrets could support follow-on attacks against connected services, although the available information does not establish what data is accessible in each deployment.

**Most likely attack path:** The network-reachable, low-complexity path requires no prior privileges or user action, so an attacker may be able to make requests directly to an exposed instance. Scope is unchanged, indicating impact is described within the application’s security authority; access to connected systems should not be assumed, but disclosed credentials could enable separate lateral movement.

**Who is most exposed:** Internet-facing Langflow instances are the clearest concern, particularly shared development environments or deployments connected to sensitive data and external services.

Review access logs for unauthenticated requests followed by unusual data retrieval.

Check for unexpected flow, project or configuration exports.

Look for abnormal outbound connections or use of credentials held by the service.

Correlate suspicious requests with identity, proxy and cloud audit logs.

Mitigation and prioritisation:

Upgrade to the vendor-fixed release; back up, apply release-specific changes and test flows.

Restrict network access to trusted users and management networks until patched.

For MCP stdio deployments, apply the vendor’s interpreter-hardening and admin-only controls; validate launch configurations after restart.

Review previously exported files and rotate any credentials that may have been exposed.

Confirm KEV, SSVC, PoC and EPSS status before final risk ranking; these indicators are not supplied here.
