Attorneys working with ClassAction.org are looking into whether a class action lawsuit can be filed in light of the Elara Caring data breach.

As part of their investigation, they need to hear from individuals who had their information exposed in the incident , including those who received notice of the Elara Caring data breach or otherwise believe they are affected.

Elara Caring has disclosed a data breach involving unauthorized access to a third-party vendor’s systems.

A sample notification letter (pictured below) states that the third-party vendor, which assists with document management and signing, notified Elara Caring of the data breach on December 12, 2025. An investigation revealed that an unauthorized party had accessed and/or downloaded documents from the vendor's system between November 4 and 6 and November 14 and 17, 2025. Elara Caring’s own systems reportedly were not impacted.

Elara Caring provides health care services to over 60,000 patients across the Northeast, Midwest, and Southwest daily.
