Juniper Networks recently published an advisory regarding a critical vulnerability, CVE-2026-21902 , affecting Junos OS Evolved on PTX Series routers.
This flaw allows an unauthenticated, network-based attacker to execute arbitrary code with root privileges, potentially leading to a complete takeover of the affected device. Organizations utilizing PTX Series routers are urged to apply available patches or implement recommended workarounds to mitigate risk.
