Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesian National Police (INP)’s Criminal Investigation Agency has announced a follow-up investigation into the international online gambling syndicate recently dismantled at the Hayam Wuruk Plaza Tower, Jakarta.

The focus has now shifted toward identifying the financial backers and analyzing the digital infrastructure used by the 321 suspects.

"We will coordinate with relevant agencies to trace the flow of funds and identify their sponsors," said Brigadier General Wira Satya Triputra, the Director of General Crimes, on Sunday (10/5/2026), as cited by antaranews.com.

This includes investigating the individuals or entities responsible for leasing the office space and providing the logistical support for the group’s operations.

Technical teams are also performing forensic analysis on computers and other mobile devices seized during the raid. Of the 321 people arrested, 320 are foreigners predominantly from Vietnam (228), followed by China (57), Myanmar (13), Laos (11), Thailand (5), Malaysia (3), and Cambodia (3).

While the foreigners have been transferred to the Ministry of Immigration and Correctional Affairs), one Indonesian remains in custody at the Criminal Investigation Agency headquarters for further questioning.
