The London Police Service has charged a man in connection with a London Hydro data breach.
On June 19, police received a report from London Hydro a suspected compromise of its customer information.
Investigators said between June 5 and June 17, a suspect accessed customer accounts unauthorized, gaining customer information.
The LPS executed a warrant a on Aug. 13, part of investigation efforts. Several devices were seized and examined. Police said they found evidence that linked the suspect to the data breach.
A 40-year-old man of London has been charged with fraudulently obtaining any computer service and mischief over $5,000.
