How to read a Pixel patch number

A Pixel patch level is a date, such as 2026-10-05 for the patch level of October 5, 2026. Google says a phone showing that date or a later one has every fix from that month’s bulletin and from earlier ones.

The Pixel bulletin lists fixes for Pixel-specific parts, and it comes in addition to the fixes in Android’s own monthly security bulletin. Bug fixes that are not security related are not listed in the bulletin, and Google points to the Pixel Community forum for those.
