Last year microsoft used ransomware tactics to force me to pay far more storage by stopping my emails after paying i then checked my storage and found i had not run out of storage and having found once again my emails have been stopped unless i pay for more storage that I don't need. Second, even if you've disabled it in Windows, if you use your Microsoft account for email, any message with attachments uses OneDrive space. Log into . You'll see both a Microsoft storage (OneDrive) value and an Email storage value. The Email storage limit will be 15GB for a free account. The Microsoft storage value will be 5GB. So even if you have less than 15GB in your mailbox, if your mailbox contains attachments, those attachments will also count toward the amount in the Microsoft storage and you can easily exceed that value while still having plenty of space in the mailbox.
