Snyk Deepens AI Security Strategy With OpenAI, Anthropic Integrations and North America Tour

Snyk disclosed that OpenAI is showcasing its use of -generation GPT-5.5 and Trusted Access for Cyber technologies to protect software supply chains. In parallel, Snyk embedded Anthropic’s Claude models into the Snyk AI Security Platform to automate vulnerability discovery, prioritization and remediation. Data from Snyk’s 2026 State of Agentic AI Adoption Report underscores the scale of the challenge, noting that each AI model in production introduces nearly three times as many software components and that roughly two-thirds of production code is now AI-generated. Nearly half of that code reportedly contains vulnerabilities, with many agents operating outside traditional security oversight.

Customer and partner feedback suggests early validation of Snyk’s approach, with Anthropic’s security leadership emphasizing how Claude-powered detections are converted into actionable fixes inside build workflows. The Claude integration is currently available to joint customers, with a broader rollout planned through 2026 to expand adoption across Snyk’s global base.

Beyond product and partnership updates, Snyk launched a nine-city, game-day themed North America tour aligned with a major global soccer tournament. The events focus on “world-class defense in the AI era,” combining in-person networking with hands-on security education for developers and security professionals.

Collectively, these developments highlight Snyk’s effort to solidify its role as a governance layer for AI software supply chains and application security. The week’s activity underscores a strategic emphasis on AI-enabled detection, developer-centric remediation and high-touch customer engagement to support future growth.
