SoftBank Group to Offer Cybersecurity Services in Japan, Using OpenAI Technology

SoftBank Group plans to offer cybersecurity services using OpenAI technology in Japan.

The Japanese technology investment company said Tuesday that it would begin the cybersecurity services that use OpenAI's advanced artificial-intelligence capabilities designed to help companies assess cybersecurity vulnerability and plan for remediation.

SoftBank Group said the services, offered through its joint venture with the ChatGPT maker, are aimed at securing critical infrastructure in Japan.
