Stratom Proves Defense Cybersecurity Readiness with CMMC

Maximum assessment score reflects company-wide readiness to protect Controlled Unclassified Information and support defense program requirements

LOUISVILLE, Colo., Sept. 15, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Stratom , a developer of autonomous and robotic systems for defense applications, today announced it has achieved compliance with Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) Level 2 requirements.

The self-assessment declares that Stratom has met all 110 security requirements in NIST Special Publication 800-171 Revision 2 for protecting Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) within its CMMC Level 2 self-assessment scope. The scope includes the information systems supporting Stratom’s company-wide operations and defense programs.

CMMC establishes cybersecurity requirements for companies in the defense industrial base based on the sensitivity of the information they handle. Level 2 applies to organizations that process, store or transmit CUI and is aligned with the 110 security requirements in NIST SP 800-171 Revision 2.

Stratom completed the self-assessment proactively as part of its continued investment in the systems, processes and infrastructure needed to support defense customers.
