BOSTON , Sept. 14, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Meara Belkin Tech Holdings, Inc. has announced the launch of HALO Cyber, a platform offering businesses a 360-degree digital solution to mitigate cyber risk by integrating cybersecurity, IT services and cyber insurance into one portal.

Co-founders Bill Meara and Matthew Belkin created HALO after seeing businesses struggle with cybersecurity and IT readiness and a fragmented process for obtaining cyber insurance. They also saw that brokers lacked an integrated platform to help clients access the cybersecurity services required to meet their underwriting standards.

The International Association of Insurance Supervisors estimates the annual global economic loss for cyber incidents to be upwards of $10 trillion, with 99% of global cyber losses being uninsured. "Sixty percent of all businesses have experienced a cyber breach during their life cycle. Of those businesses, 18% of them filed for bankruptcy", says Meara, "what Halo has created is a singular solution for publicly and privately held businesses to ensure that they maintain the proper formula via security, IT services, and cyber insurance."

A survey published by Munich Re found that 87% of companies from various sectors expressed doubts their organizations' preparedness against digital threats," Belkin stated, "this shows a sharper awareness of the security risks facing their organizations."
