The Centre for Cybersecurity Belgium celebrates five years of BE

Ccb.Belgium.Be September 16, 2026

The Centre for Cybersecurity Belgium (CCB) is a Platinum Partner of BE-CYBER 2026, which this year celebrates its fifth anniversary as a leading cybersecurity event in Belgium.

With more than 350 participants in 2025, BE-CYBER has become the annual meeting point for Belgium’s cybersecurity community, bringing together policymakers, businesses, technology experts and researchers. Strengthening this community is part of the CCB’s mission, which is why we support this event.

The theme of this year’s edition, Cyber Renaissance – Where Trusted Collaboration Becomes Capability , reflects a conviction that guides the CCB’s work every day: in a context of geopolitical tensions, technological dependencies and growing threats, cybersecurity is no longer just a technical issue. It is also strategic choices: how do we collaborate? What do we protect? And on which values do we build our digital future?

In practical terms, this means turning trusted collaboration into real capabilities: innovation, digital sovereignty and long-term resilience.

The programme is structured around four themes:

The Foundations of Trust – Building Sovereign & Trustworthy Digital Infrastructure

The United Shield – Growing Local Cyber Capability through Trusted Collaboration

Artificial Intelligence, Reimagined – From Innovation to Trust & Control

Cyber Humanism – Putting People Back at the Centre of Security

Canada is the guest country for this anniversary edition, bringing the perspective of one of the world’s most dynamic cybersecurity ecosystems.

The closing keynote will be delivered by Julia Janssen, AI strategist, entrepreneur and author, who will her perspective on the relationship between people, artificial intelligence and trust.
