The National Directorate for Cyber Security (DNSC) is investigating a cybersecurity incident detected at the National Radiocommunications Company (SNR) on October 19, 2026. The incident was reported through the National Cybersecurity Incident Reporting Platform (PNRISC).

According to information provided by SNR, the company took immediate measures to contain the incident. Preliminary checks indicate that the impact is concentrated within the internal network, with no indications that the services provided to customers have been affected. They continue to operate.

A DNSC team is at SNR’s headquarters to investigate the incident and assess its impact. The company announced that it will notify DIICOT. Customers and partners have been warned not to access unexpected links or attachments and to treat messages received from the company with caution.

The incident comes a few days after the Central Depository announced that it had been targeted in a cyberattack on October 16. The institution manages data on transactions and contracts from the Bucharest Stock Exchange, but trading activity was not affected.
