"Additional decisions were also adopted to protect and ensure the uninterrupted operation of our data-center infrastructure and other facilities that are of critical importance in the communications sector," President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.

The implementation of these measures will remain a top priority for state officials and security service leaders to maintain stable connectivity and secure essential information networks.

On September 23, 2026, Russian strikes damaged key Ukrainian data centers and communication networks, causing widespread internet disruptions for around 100,000 households across Kyiv and surrounding regions.

Essential service providers including Pavutyna, UTELS, and Crazy Network suffered facility damage and outages extending to Vinnytsia and Khmelnytskyi, while emergency crews and Ministry of Digital Transformation specialists worked to repair the infrastructure and restore vital connectivity amid Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
