Feeds.4Sysops IT News June 19, 2026

Security researchers have identified a hardware-level vulnerability named usbliter8 that affects Apple's A12 and A13 Bionic chips. This flaw resides in the BootROM, which is the initial code executed by the processor during the device startup process. Because this code is etched into the silicon and cannot be modified, the vulnerability is considered unpatchable through software updates. Source
