Back Cbs6Albany Warren County recovers more money from $3 million phishing scheme
More money has been returned to Warren County after a phishing scheme targeted the county in December — costing $3 million in taxpayer funds.
CBS6 is told $1.2 million was located by the Secret Service and returned to the county early last month.

However, in recent weeks, an additional $256,000 was located and returned to the county.
Nearly $1.5 million has now been recovered of the nearly $3.4 million stolen.
Investigators are still actively searching for the rest of the missing money.
