A criminal group has infected 953 online stores, primarily using Magento, with a JavaScript loader as part of an ongoing malware campaign since July 2025. The latest domain, deepveindrilling.com, was registered on October 6, 2026, and has been found in the CMS blocks of 83 stores. The loader checks if visitors are real shoppers or security scanners, serving payloads only to genuine users. Previous domains used in this campaign include manulfie.click and neswnsssn.click, which have also been linked to earlier infections. The malware is designed to perform visitor fingerprinting to evade detection. Sansec has not yet captured the final payload, but earlier versions served scripts from crypto-themed domains. Store owners are advised to check for the loader code and ensure their systems are patched against known vulnerabilities, including CVE-2026-48356 and CVE-2025-54236.
