Airbus Plans Migration of Critical Apps to European Sovereign Cloud

Airbus is set to tender a significant contract to migrate its mission-critical applications to a digitally sovereign European cloud. The company, which has already streamlined its datacenter operations and utilizes services like Google Workspace, aims to transition key on-premises applications such as ERP, manufacturing execution systems, CRM, and product lifecycle management to the cloud. However, Airbus estimates only an 80/20 chance of securing a suitable provider for this migration.
