Allianz Commercial has announced a strategic partnership with Coalition, transferring its standalone commercial cyber insurance portfolio to Coalition. This agreement designates Coalition as Allianz's exclusive global partner for cyber insurance, responsible for pricing, product development, risk mitigation, and claims management. The partnership is set for a minimum of 10 years and aims to enhance Allianz's offerings in the growing cyber insurance market. Allianz will continue to support multinational and large corporate clients while providing long-term insurance capacity and access to its distribution channels. The rollout will begin in key markets, including the US, UK, Australia, Germany, Denmark, and Sweden, with plans for further expansion. Allianz will increase its equity stake in Coalition and gain the right to appoint a director to its board.
