On May 17, 2026, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu announced the establishment of a Quantum-Secure Communications Test Bed at Amaravati Quantum Valley. This initiative aims to bolster secure communications and cyber resilience as part of a broader effort to develop a world-class quantum ecosystem. The facility, developed in collaboration with SRM University-AP, C-DOT, and the Department of Telecommunications, will focus on research and testing of quantum communication hardware, encryption technologies, and secure network infrastructure.
