Amazon Web Services (AWS) is committing up to $50 billion to enhance AI and supercomputing capabilities for U.S. government agencies. The initiative will add 1.3 gigawatts of high-performance computing capacity across AWS cloud regions, including AWS Top Secret and AWS GovCloud, and is expected to commence in 2026.
