Android Outperforms iPhone in Mobile Scam Protection, New Survey Shows

A global survey commissioned by Google indicates that Android users are 58% less likely to receive scam texts compared to iPhone users. This challenges the perception that iOS is inherently safer due to its closed ecosystem. The survey, conducted during Cybersecurity Awareness Month, involved 5,000 smartphone users and highlights the increasing sophistication of mobile scams, which have resulted in over $400 billion in stolen funds globally in the past year.
