Apple has introduced a new feature called Digital ID, allowing U.S. iPhone and Apple Watch users to store a digital version of their U.S. passport in Apple Wallet. This feature can be used at TSA checkpoints across more than 250 U.S. airports and is part of the iOS 26 release, with initial rollout in select states and Puerto Rico.
