On July 4, 2026, the Andhra Pradesh government held a Cyber Security Workshop to review and strengthen its cyber security framework. The workshop, organized by Andhra Pradesh Technology Services (APTS), aimed to enhance the protection of sensitive government data amid the expansion of digital governance. APTS Chairman Mannava Mohana Krishna emphasized the importance of safeguarding citizens' personal information, health records, and financial data. The workshop focused on establishing uniform cyber security standards, identifying vulnerabilities, and discussing measures to counter evolving cyber threats. Continuous monitoring, risk assessments, and cyber security training were highlighted as essential components for building public trust in digital services. The National Cyber Security Team is conducting assessments across states in preparation for the National Cyber Security Conference in August. Various government departments presented their initiatives and best practices during the workshop.
