In FY2024–25, the Australian Cyber Security Centre (ACSC) reported over 1,200 cyber incidents, marking an 11% increase from the previous year. Additionally, the ACSC issued more than 1,700 alerts, a significant 83% rise. Some mining and manufacturing organizations experienced severe delays, taking over 520 days to detect intrusions and an additional 84 days to report them.
