In September 2026, AV-Comparatives published its Endpoint Prevention and Response (EPR) Test results, evaluating 14 enterprise security solutions against 50 multi-stage attack scenarios. The test, conducted between June and August 2026, simulated realistic attack chains including phishing, lateral movement, and data exfiltration, utilizing AI-assisted development techniques. Eleven vendors, including Bitdefender and Palo Alto Networks, achieved Certified Leader status by meeting the 92% certification threshold.
