The British Standards Institution (BSI) has reported significant gaps in AI governance as businesses increase their investment in artificial intelligence technologies. The study analyzed over 100 multinational annual reports and surveyed 850 senior leaders, revealing that many organizations are inadequately prepared for the associated risks of AI deployment. Eighty percent of surveyed business and IT leaders indicated plans to use AI agents, highlighting a mismatch between AI adoption and the establishment of necessary security controls.
