Chinese rocketry company LandSpace attempted to launch its first reusable rocket, the Zhuque-3 Y1, from the Dongfeng Commercial Aerospace Innovation Test Zone. The rocket successfully placed its second stage in orbit but exploded during the planned soft landing of its first stage. Despite the explosion, LandSpace celebrated the mission for its successful demonstration of key technologies.
