CISF Initiates Cybersecurity Training for 5,000 Commandos

The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) has launched a cybersecurity training programme aimed at creating 5,000 cyber commandos to enhance its personnel's capabilities against digital threats. The advanced course began on June 8, 2026, at IIT Madras Pravartak in Chennai, with the first batch consisting of 35 personnel. Training will cover critical areas such as network and cloud computing, digital forensics, cyber threat identification, artificial intelligence, machine learning, incident response, and legal frameworks.
