A recent report by IANS Research and Artico reveals that CISO compensation packages in North America increased by an average of 6.7% over the past year, despite a slowdown in overall security budget growth. The report highlights a notable rise in equity-based pay, indicating a recognition of cybersecurity's strategic value within organizations. The findings are based on a survey of 566 CISOs conducted between April and October 2025.
