In December 2025, a clipboard-hijacking malware campaign was identified that exploits Discord to steal cryptocurrency wallet addresses. The malware operates by hijacking the clipboard contents of users, specifically targeting those involved in cryptocurrency transactions. Users of Discord are at risk of having their wallet addresses compromised.
