Cloudflare has introduced an AI model integrated into its Page Shield service to detect malicious JavaScript intent, addressing the growing threat of supply chain attacks. The model targets three key threat categories: Magecart, crypto mining, and malware. It analyzes JavaScript code for malicious behavior, assigns an integrity score, and checks URLs and domains against threat intelligence feeds. This enhancement allows organizations to better protect users from evolving security risks associated with third-party scripts. The AI model was developed to handle the complexities of JavaScript, including obfuscation and diverse coding styles. Page Shield now provides deeper visibility into client-side threats, empowering organizations to respond more effectively. This capability is available to all Page Shield customers with the add-on.
