Google has released the January 2026 Android Security Bulletin, which includes a critical vulnerability related to the Dolby Digital Plus Codec. This vulnerability, known as CVE-2025-54957, can be exploited via specially crafted sound files, potentially leading to errors, crashes, and zero-click attacks. The issue has been known since October 2025 and has now been patched for Android devices.
