Czech company Cyber Drone Solutions has introduced the Specthor heavy unmanned ground vehicle (UGV) at Future Forces 2026 in Prague. Weighing 3,000 kg, the vehicle is designed for logistics, border surveillance, and critical infrastructure protection, with a modular mission bay for various payloads. It can carry up to 1,000 kg, operate for eight hours on electric power, and be controlled from distances of up to 15 kilometres. The Specthor measures 3.5×2×1.5 metres, reaches speeds of 40 km/h, and can climb gradients of 20 degrees. The vehicle is being adapted for operations in the Himalayan mountains in collaboration with an unnamed Indian partner, focusing on modifications for high-altitude performance. Testing in India aims to provide operational feedback for further development. The entire supply chain for the vehicle is claimed to be European, with most components sourced from Componentas, a sister company within the S-Tech Group.
