Cybersecurity Leaders Overworked Amid Rising AI Demands

A recent survey indicates that U.S. cybersecurity leaders are working an average of 10.8 extra hours per week due to increased responsibilities from AI integration. Nearly half of the surveyed professionals reported working 11 or more overtime hours, contributing to significant burnout in the field. The findings are part of the 2026 State of the Cybersecurity Workforce Report conducted by Sapio Research.
