The Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC) has launched DMCC Cyber, a new cybersecurity vertical, as part of its DMCC Tech platform. This initiative comes as the technology sector in Dubai surpasses 4,000 companies, marking it as the largest and fastest-growing segment in the business district. DMCC Cyber aims to support over 200 cybersecurity companies focusing on areas such as cyber resilience, digital trust, data protection, identity, and governance. The establishment of this vertical reflects the increasing importance of cybersecurity in the digital economy. Ahmed Bin Sulayem, DMCC's Executive Chairman, emphasized the need for specialized platforms to cater to different segments of the technology economy. DMCC Cyber joins other specialized centers under DMCC Tech, including AI, Crypto, and Gaming, to foster collaboration and innovation within the tech community. The platform is designed to enhance operational efficiency and sector-specific growth in Dubai's digital landscape.
