The initiatives are part of the €1.5 billion European Defence Industry Programme (EDIP) and are designed to foster cooperation among EU member states. The approved projects include the Drone and Counter-Drone European Resolve (DECODER), Integrated Maritime and Seabed Defence (IMSD), and EU Federated Integrated Air and Missile Defence (EU-FIAMD). Funding for these projects will come from the EDIP, with an initial allocation of €325 million.
