The UK's National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) reported a significant rise in 'nationally significant' cyber-attacks, increasing from 89 to 204 in the year leading up to August 2025. Despite a slight decrease in the overall percentage of businesses experiencing breaches, medium-sized enterprises still face a high prevalence of cyber-attacks, with 67% affected according to a UK government survey.
