Fedora 42 and 43 have reported critical vulnerabilities in the xkbcomp component of the X.Org XKB keymap compiler, specifically CVE-2018-15853, CVE-2018-15859, CVE-2018-15861, and CVE-2018-15863. The vulnerabilities were addressed in xkbcomp version 1.5.0, released on December 3, 2025, by Peter Hutterer.
