Google Cloud has announced the addition of OpenAI's latest models, including GPT-6 Astra, GPT-6.1 Sol, and GPT-6 Luna, to its platform, making it the only major cloud provider to offer OpenAI, Gemini, and Claude models together. The models are available in a private preview for select enterprise customers, with sign-ups currently open. All transactions will be processed through Google Cloud Marketplace, allowing businesses to integrate these models easily into their existing contracts. This move reflects ongoing competition between Google and Microsoft, as Microsoft remains OpenAI's primary cloud partner. Google has stated that customer data will not be used for training purposes. The integration aims to enhance Google Cloud's offerings while managing the resource conflict between serving cloud customers and supporting its own AI initiatives.
