Google Sues Chinese Cybercriminals Over Massive Phishing Operation

Google has filed a lawsuit against a China-based group accused of orchestrating a large-scale phishing operation that targeted over 100 million U.S. credit cards. The lawsuit claims that the group, known as Lighthouse, provided phishing kits and services that facilitated scams impersonating trusted brands through text messages. Victims were swindled out of their payment card information, which was then converted into mobile wallets.
