In December 2025, the Iranian-linked hacking group Handala claimed to have compromised the Telegram accounts of two Israeli political figures, including former Prime Minister Naftali Bennett. However, Kela cyber intelligence researchers clarified that the breaches were limited to Telegram accounts rather than full device access.
