The account, known for sharing fan content, reportedly published summaries of unpublished episodes, prompting HBO's parent company, Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD), to take action. On March 31, WBD issued a takedown notice to X regarding the posts. Following this, on April 7, WBD filed for a DMCA subpoena in a California federal court to obtain identifying information about the account holder. The subpoena requires X to provide personal details such as names, addresses, and IP addresses. As of now, the account has been taken down, and X Corp. has until April 23 to comply with the subpoena. No objections to the subpoena have been filed in court yet.
