India Enhances Security with DRDO's AI Satellite Imaging System 'Prajna'

The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has received the 'Prajna' satellite imaging system, developed by the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), to bolster internal security and counter-terrorism operations. This AI-enabled technology will provide real-time decision support to security agencies, enhancing their capabilities in monitoring sensitive regions. The system was handed over by DRDO Secretary Samir V Kamat to Union Secretary Govind Mohan at a ceremony on April 21, 2026. In a related development, the Indian Navy successfully tested the Air Droppable Container 'ADC-150', which improves naval logistics by enabling quick delivery of critical supplies to vessels at sea. The ADC-150 has been designed to deliver a 150 kg payload and has completed successful trials. Both systems are expected to significantly enhance India's defense capabilities. The DRDO aims to achieve self-reliance in defense technology through these innovations.
