On August 12, 2026, Karnataka and Israel convened the Karnataka-Israel Cyber Dialogue 2026 to strengthen their cybersecurity partnership. The event focused on innovation, talent development, and digital resilience, featuring a delegation of 10 Israeli cybersecurity companies. Key discussions revolved around four areas: Innovation and Startups, Industry Partnership, Talent and Skills, and Policy and Trust. N Manjula, Secretary of Karnataka's Department of Electronics, IT and BT, emphasized the economic importance of cybersecurity. The dialogue aimed to translate knowledge exchange into practical collaborations for enhancing digital infrastructure resilience. Karnataka's Global Innovation Alliance and the Centre for Cybersecurity Karnataka (CySecK) are pivotal in this initiative, which aligns with the state's Cyber Security Policy 2024. The engagement included technology demonstrations and B2B meetings to identify partnership opportunities.
