Stelios Kouloglou, a former Greek MEP and journalist, has filed a criminal complaint against NSO Group, alleging that his phone was hacked using Pegasus spyware while he served on a European Parliament committee investigating surveillance software. Forensic analysis by Citizen Lab confirmed that his phone was infected on or around October 21, 2022, and again on March 6 and 7, 2023. The complaint accuses NSO Group of breaching confidentiality, unauthorized access to data, and violating Greece's data protection laws. Kouloglou claims that the spyware accessed sensitive personal data, including health information and details related to his political activities.
