On March 23, 2026, Kratos Defense & Security Solutions announced its selection by SKY Perfect JSAT Corporation to develop and validate a 5G Non-Terrestrial Network (NTN) ground system as part of SKY Perfect JSAT's Universal NTN initiative. This partnership aims to enhance the technical validation and early-stage implementation of software-based 5G NTN ground infrastructure in the Asia-Pacific region. The collaboration is expected to enable satellite operators to integrate satellites into mainstream mobile networks, addressing the growing demand for global broadband.
