Malwarebytes Enhances Mac Scan Engine for Improved Threat Detection

Malwarebytes has launched a new enhanced scan engine for Mac users on December 11, 2025. This update introduces new scan options and external drive scanning capabilities to better detect and block threats such as infostealers, advanced persistent threats (APTs), and zero-hour malware. The enhanced engine aims to provide deeper coverage across the hard drive to strengthen protection against silent threats.
