Peter Minza, a 45-year-old from Billingham, was sentenced to 40 months in prison for possessing and distributing child sexual abuse material. The Cleveland Police's Digital Forensics Unit discovered 3,579 indecent images on his devices, including 1,657 category A images, the most severe. Minza also possessed an online paedophile manual and engaged in sexual communication with minors he believed to be 13 and 15 years old. He was charged with 13 offences, including making and distributing indecent images. Minza pleaded guilty in April 2026 and will be subject to a Sexual Harm Prevention Order for 15 years. The investigating officer described the material as the worst he had ever seen, highlighting the severity of the abuse behind each image.
